First Central American Solidarity Brigade arrives in CubaHAVANA, Cuba, Jan 7 (ACN) The first Central American Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba, arrives today at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp (CIJAM), in Caimito, Artemisa, to complete a program that includes approaching the reality of the Cuban people.

On January 8, they will participate with the capital's people in the event that commemorates Fidel's entry into Havana in the Freedom Caravan, according to the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
As they pass through the capital, they will visit places of economic, historical and social interest, an action they will also carry out in the provinces of Cienfuegos, Villa Clara and Artemisa.
In this last province, they will pay homage to Julio Antonio Mella, a revolutionary who founded the Communist Party of Cuba together with Carlos Baliño, and who was assassinated in Mexico on January 10, 1929.
The program will not lack the voluntary contribution in work that promotes agriculture in Artemisa, as well as participation in conferences that link José Martí with the Central American peoples, relations between Cuba and the United States, democracy and the updating of the economic model on the island.
