Council of State Appoints the Members of the National Electoral Commission

HAVANA, Dec 26 (ACN) The Council of State, in compliance with the Electoral Law and in correspondence with the call of the National Assembly, has agreed to appoint the 17th members of the National Electoral Commission in charge of the Referendum in which the Cuban citizens eligible to vote will ratify the new Constitution of the Republic.

The members of the National Electoral Commission, presided by Alina Balseiro Gutierrez will take charge of their responsibilities next December 28th.

The provincial, municipal, district and special electoral commissions will be appointed and constituted between January 4th and 13 th of 2019.
