HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 14 (ACN) A few hours before the celebration of the 14th anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America, the heads of delegations that will participate in the XVI ALBA-TCP Summit that begins tomorrow began to arrive in this capital city.
José Ramón Saborido, Minister of Higher Education, went to Terminal 1 of the José Martí International Airport to receive Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica, Raúl Li Causi, Vice-Chancellor of Venezuela, Lesly David, Ambassador of Haiti in Venezuela, and Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Immigration of Antigua and Barbuda.
Also on Cuban soil is David Choquehuanca, Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP.
Nicolás Maduro, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela arrived at night, and Evo Morales Ayma, his counterpart from the Plurinational State of Bolivia, is expected to arrive in the next few hours.
Daniel Ortega, president of Nicaragua, is also expected, as well as representatives of the rest of the nations that make up this regional integration organization.
The conclave will meet in Havana this Friday and is a propitious space to reinforce Latin American unity and integration.
