Mild quake shakes eastern Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 29 (ACN) At 3:52 pm on Sunday, October 28, 2018, the Network of Stations of the Cuban National Seismological Service recorded a 3.2 magnitude earthquake.

The epicenter was located at coordinates 19.84 degrees North Latitude and -76.24 degrees West Longitude, with a depth of 8 km, 18 km south of the town of El Francés in the municipality of Guamá, province of Santiago de Cuba. This is the No. 14 perceptible earthquake of the year 2018.
Reports of perceptibility have been received from the locality of Cobre in the municipality of Santiago de Cuba and Palma Soriano in the municipality of the same name. Neither material nor human damage was reported.
