Cuban Foreign Minister receives Myanmar's high diplomatic representative

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 4 (ACN) The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez received Kyaw Tint Swe, Minister of the Union for the Office of the Secretary of State and Special Envoy of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, who is making an official visit to Cuba.

During the cordial exchange, they reviewed the state of bilateral relations and agreed on the interest of fostering political, economic-commercial and cooperation ties. In addition, they exchanged on international issues of common interest, publishes CubaMinrex.
Myanmar and Cuba have maintained friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations on October 12, 1976.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the permanent representative to the United Nations and concurrent ambassador of Myanmar in Cuba, Hau Do Suan, and the permanent representative to international organizations in Geneva, Kyaw Moe Tun.
On the Cuban side, the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emilio Lozada García and other officials participated.
