HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 13 (ACN) Cuban Economy and Planning Minister Ricardo Cabrisas met on Wednesday in Havana with Senator Serguey V. Kalashnikov, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Friendship with Cuba Group and First Vice President of the Committee of the Economic Policy of the Russian Federation Council.
The meeting ratified the excellent relations between the governments, parliaments and peoples of both nations.
Cabrisas who heads the Cuba-Russia Inter-governmental Commission recalled his recent visit to Moscow and his talks with authorities and business executives of different sectors of the Russian economy.
During the talks, both sides valued as very positive the Russian support to the restoration process of the Capitol building's dome and the role of the Federation Council headed by its President Valentina Matvienko and Kalashnikov.
Other members of the delegation, were the Minister Advisor and First Advisor of the Russian Embassy in Havana, Sergey Yu Reshchikov and Andrey V. Mitrafanov, respectively.
The Cuban delegatin included the President of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly, Yolanda Ferrer Gomez; the General Director of Bilateral Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, Emilio Lozada Garciaand the Director of the Commercial Policy with Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment, Inalvis Bonachea Gonzalez.
