Fijian PM thanks Cuba for its HelpHAVANA, Cuba, Jun 13 (acn) Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, thanked Cuba for its support to his country, especially in the training of human resources.

The pronouncement took place during the meeting he had with Carlos Manuel Rojas, Cuban ambassador in that insular state of the South Pacific, according to Cubaminrex website.
At the meeting, Bainimarama expressed his desire and that of his government to continue working for the strengthening of bilateral relations, and the increase of mutually beneficial cooperation between both nations.

The Cuban ambassador highlighted the fluid exchange between both nations in multilateral scenarios, such as the United Nations Climate Change Conference and the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF).
Cuba and Fiji established diplomatic relations since July 2002, during the 3rd Summit of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States.
