HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 12 (acn) Rogelio Sierra, Cuba´s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, will arrive today in Guyana, country he visits as part of a tour of the Caribbean.
After fruitful working stops in Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and Barbados, the Cuban official will arrive in Guyana to continue strengthening Cuba's friendship ties with the Caribbean nations.
The main goal of this tour is to confirm Cuba's firm commitment to maintain cooperation with the region, already existing in fields such as health, education, sports and the reduction of natural disaster risks.
The visit to Guyana will end tomorrow, when Sierra will depart for Jamaica, the last country in this route, and where he will stay until June 16th.
