UN Secretary-General lashes inequality in the world

Guterres questioned this disparity in the opening ceremony of the 37th session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) at the Havana Convention Center, which will conclude its deliberations on Friday.

He announced that a World Conference on Climate Change will be convened in September 2019 in the face of the devastating impact of hydro meteorological phenomena and said that in 2017 alone they caused losses for some 327 billion dollars.
