HAVANA, Cuba, May 7 (ACN) Cuba's Vice President of the Council of State, Ines Maria Chapman placed white flowers on Monday on a bust of Cuba's National Hero Jose Marti at the San Jose National Park in Costa Rica during the second day of her official visit to the Central American nation.
The Coordinator of Central America, Mexico and Caribbean of the Costa Rican Foreign Ministry, Miguel Obregon; in addition to Cuba's Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez accompanied the Cuban government official.
Chapman spoke to members of the Costa Rican Solidarity with Cuba Movement on Sunday whom ratified their support to the Cuban Revolution.
Ines Maria Chapman, heads the Cuban delegation that will attend to activities related to the swearing in ceremony of Costa Rican President elect Carlos Alvarado Quesada held on Monday and scheduled for Tuesday in San Jose.
The Cuban leader's program includes meetings with Cuban health professions in Costa Rica and government authorities.
Over a hundred foreign delegations will be on hand, seven of them headed by Heads of State or Government whom have already confirmed their participation in the swearing in ceremony of Alvarado, reported Prensa Latina News Agency.
