BAYAMO, Cuba, Feb 21 (ACN) The process prior to the 21st Congress of the Cuban Workers Confederation, CTC, which includes in its first stage an analysis and debates, are underway in Granma province.
Since the beginning of this process which began on February 1st up to date, one thousand 550 structural bases discussed the document, according to the member of the Provincial Bureau of the CTC, Asdrubal Bullain.
Bullain assured that a program was designed to guarantee the reading and analysis of the document before March 31st in five thousand 913 labor unions in the province.
The General Secretary of the CTC in Granma, Yamila Fonseca highlighted the singularity of the process, which compared to the others offers the possibility of workers to enrich the content of the Congress from a sincere and respectful reflection of issues that concern the workers.
The maximum representative of the labor movement in the territory explained that among the most debated issues are salaries, moral and material awards, means of protection and retirement.
The normal process of the 21st Congress of the CTC will extend until the end of the year and it will include municipal and provincial conferences and later to the final sessions to be held in Havana in January of 2019.
