HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 20 (ACN) The Vice-President of the Government and Minister of Interior of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Robert Kaliñák met on Monday with the Vice President of the Council of Ministers Marino Murillo Jorge, and the Minister of Economy Ricardo Cabrisas.
First, Mr Kaliñák met with Murillo and they exchanged views on the importance of continuing to deepen mutual knowledge in their spheres of competence and development projects in areas of common interest.
They also addressed topics related to public administration, including the optimization of processes and structures linked to it and the possibilities of applying efficient management systems.
The Cuban side included the Minister of Finance and Prices, Lina Pedraza Rodriguez and other officials.
Later the visitor was received by Cabrisas, with whom he reviewed the state of bilateral economic and financial relations. In this context, with the participation of Finance Minister Peter Kazimir and Health Minister Tomás Drucker, both parties confirmed the satisfactory progress of the agreements signed in the energy and health sectors.
They discussed the advances in the reconstruction of block six of Mariel Thermoelectric and Felton Thermoelectric plants. Also, they tackled the results observed in the first steps of the application of Heberprot-P in Slovak patients.
