Cuban Vice President visit SeychellesHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 15 (ACN) The vice president of the Council of State of Cuba, Mercedes López Acea, was received today by the president of Seychelles, Danny Faure, in a meeting described by the Cuban Foreign Ministry as cordial and friendly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba in its account on Twitter published that Lopez Acea also met with Seychelles graduates in Cuba, who expressed their immense gratitude for having studied in the Caribbean nation.

The Cuban vice president began on Wednesday a visit to that archipelago of the Indian Ocean, with the aim of strengthening the historic and fraternal bonds of friendship and solidarity that unite Cuba and that brother country, reported CubaMinrex.

The delegation is composed of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Teresita González Fraga, and Ambassador Sidenio Acosta Aday, an official of the Sub-Saharan African Directorate of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.

The ties that unite Cuba and Seychelles will be 40 years old this year on April 12 and constitute an expression of solidarity, friendship, disinterest, gratitude and full support between both nations, said the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
