LAS TUNAS, Cuba, Jan 24 (ACN) The Sanlope Publishing House from Las Tunas will be represented at the 27th International Book Fair in Havana from February 1st to the 11th with a selection of titles related to the province.
The texts which will be present at the Morro-Cabana Fortress on February 9th, deals with curiosities, traditions, history and poetry, said the Director of the Provincial Book Center, Maira Leyva Henderson.
Leyva Henderson explained that 153 books will be for sale from April 5 th to the 8th with a total of 10 thousand 900 samples when the book fair begins in Las Tunas province.
The 27th Edition of the Book Fair will be dedicated to Eusebio Leal, Historian for the City of Havana and has China as invited guest while the province of Las Tunas will pay tribute to Vicente Garcia, on the 185th anniversary of his birth.
The book fair in Las Tunas will be located in the centric Colon Street where 12 sales stands will be installed, a huge library, children's pabellion and an information area called Virtual City, said Leyva Henderson.
Conferences, lectures, presentations, film and art exhibitions and other activities will make up the event.
