HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 12 (ACN) Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, reaffirmed on Friday in Venezuela in the need to strengthen the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, unity in diversity, political and integration agreement.
Rodriguez spoke at the 7th Extraordinary Meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) in Caracas.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry published on Twitter the official photograph of the meeting with the representatives of the countries that make up the regional alliance like Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Dominica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis and Grenada.
During the closing of the event, President Nicolas Madura rejected the "recent interference and disrespectful declarations of Donald Trump against sister nations" like El Salvador and Haiti and called on all ALBA-TCP member nations to speak out.
The integration regional mechanism is an example of human and respectful treaty, said the Venezuelan President according to a Twit by the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
Last August another extraordinary meeting was held in Caracas where the member nations reaffirmed its support and solidarity with Venezuela before the interference policy of the US government against the South American nation.
The 16th ALBA-TCP Political Council was held in Havana last December, which ended with an activity for the anniversary of the foundation of the regional alliance in 2004 and a final declaration in support of Venezuela.
