Ramiro Valdes Participates in Main Activity for the 50th Anniversary of the Fall in Combat of Che

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 9 (acn) Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes Menendez, Vice President of the Council of State and Ministers who heads the Cuban delegation to the activities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the fall in combat of Ernesto Che Guevara spoke at the main event held in Vallegrande, Bolivia.

Ramiro Valdes arrived on Saturday to the South American nation and visited La Higuera, located in the Bolivian Department of Santa Cruz.

The Cuban delegation included Brigade General Harry Villegas Tamayo (Pombo) and Coronel Leonardo Tamayo Nunez (Urbano) both were members of Che's Guerrilla in Bolivia; Aleida, Celia, Camilo and Ernesto, children of the Heroic Guerrilla and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Rogelio Sierra Diaz and Cuba's ambassador to that country Benigno Perez Fernandez.
