HAVANA; Cuba, Aug 21 (acn) Cuba lost to Brazil today in its fourth match of the 2017 FIVB Boys´ U19 World Championship with a stage in the city of Riffa, Bahrain.
According to the official website of the contest, Brazil won 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-22 and 25-19) in 1:44 hours.
Cuban Jose Romero was scoring leader of the match with 19 points and was supported by Victor Andreu (15) and Rey Flores (14), while Victor Cardoso (16) and Messias Voss (11) highlighted for the South American side.
The Caribbean island ended the preliminary round with balance of one win and three losses as it previously beat Poland (3-2), but lost 0-3 in both cases to Japan and France in Pool B.
The best four teams of each Pool advance to the round of 16, while the last squads in each group go to fight for the spots from 17th to 20th.
