Havana, Cuba, Jul 10 (ACN) A total of 26 students graduated on Friday from the Raul Roa Garcia Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) in Havana.
During the graduation ceremony, presided by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and the Dean of ISRI, Isabel Allende Karam, the graduates dedicated their diplomas to the leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro, symbol of the struggle for just causes.
Deputy Dean Gerardo Hernandez highlighted the commitment of the young graduates with their Homeland and role in the struggle for a better and just world.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Ailyn Martinez referred to her experience during the years of study and thanked the Revolution for the possibility of a free and quality education.
The group will travel to Santiago de Cuba to pay tribute to Hero Jose Marti and climb the highest point of Cuba, Turquino Peak.
First Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina Gonzalez and Deputy Foreign Ministers Abelardo Moreno, Ana Teresita Gonzalez and Rogelio Sierra were also present during the graduation ceremony.
