Matanzas, Cuba, Apr 5 (acn) The 2nd Provincial Conference of Social Sciences and Humanities is scheduled to begin June 20th until the 21st in Matanzas with debates on scientific materials like local development.
The specialist of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, (CITMA) Dariel de Leon Garcia said that the event will include among its objectives the contribution of proposals, evaluations and predictions of the problems that affects the western territory.
The conference will focus on the implementation of the guidelines of the economic and social policies in Matanzas, complementary between research groups and the role of the social sciences in the current Cuban model, among other aspects.
Among the main issues for the presentation of the papers represents the model of sustainable economic development in Cuba with emphasis in the study of comprehensive productive systems, updating the socialist state companies, public policies and strategies before climate change.
In addition to making Cuban society more dynamic, including the demographic processes in Matanzas, the impact of the aging population and race and genre relations.
The participants can opt by writing their papers in the lines of national identity and the socialization processes, prevention and confronting crimes, in addition to economic and political relations in the international context.
