Cuban Youth and Pioneers Organizations pay homage to Che Guevara in Villa Clara

SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Apr 3 (acn) On the occasion of the 55 anniversary of the Cuban Youth Organization (UJC) and the 56th of the José Marti Pioneers Organization (OPJM) there were moments of reflection before the effigy of Che in the Revolution Square with his name.

One of the moments of greater solemnity in the ceremony for the celebration of the juvenile event that commemorates the day four of April was the delivery of the card to more than one thousand 500 new militants of the UJC, coming from the provinces of Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus and Villa Clara.
The responsibility and healthy pride of the new generation that assumes the commitment to carry out the work of the Revolution was reflected in the faces of those who received the document from Julio Lima Corzo, first secretary of the Party in Villa Clara and Sucely Morfa González, first UJC secretary, both members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and other leaders.
The central words were given by Ronald Hidalgo Rivera, second secretary of the National Committee of the UJC, who emphasized the historical significance of the act in which the young people assumed the commitment to be faithful to the Homeland and to the Revolution before the monument of the Heroic Guerrilla.
Several songs and lyrics of deep patriotic sense dedicated to Che Guevara were interpreted by artists of the province, in addition to phrases by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, leader of the Revolution, on the companion of fight, who was the example of the new man who inspires the young generation.
The anti-imperialist camping started in the afternoon with cultural, sports and recreational activities, as well as a commercial and gastronomic fair, extended throughout the night with presentations of troubadours and musical groups for the delight of young people, family and anyone who wishes .
