Ciego de Avila, Cuba, Mar 27 (acn) A series of activities are being prepared in the province of Ciego de Avila for the 55th anniversary of the Young Communist League (UJC) like an exchange of the new generation with history and political-cultural and recreational events.
According to the program, offered by the Provincial Bureau of the organization, students from the pedagogical school in the municipality of Moron visited the Monument Complex in honor of the Invading Army in the area of Lazaro Lopez, in order to promote the contact of future teachers with the heroic tradition of the country.
A baseball game between the Maximo Gomez Baez University and the Jose Assef Yara School of Medicine, performances by amateur artists from the Federation of University Students (FEU) in the territory's high schools and a camp out at the El Charcazo Camping site are part of the events dedicated to recreation.
The Primero de Enero Sugar Complex will be the site for the selection on April 2nd of the first direct representative to the 19 th World Festival of Youth and Students to be held on October 15 th to the 21st in Sochi, Russia.
