About 2 000 People pay homage Daily to FidelHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 6 (acn) Around two thousand people arrive every day to the monolith where Fidel Castro´s ashes rest, to show him diverse demonstrations of homage, gratitude and respect.

Yudy Garcia, administrator of the Santa Ifigenia necropolis, in the city of Santiago de Cuba, told Granma newspaper that more than 150 000 people, including Cubans and foreigners, had visited the mausoleum since December 4, when access to the place was open to the public, which is an example of the extraordinary validity of the ideas and example of the Commander-in-Chief.

In view of the growing number of persons attending the place, it is hoped one million people to have visited this patrimonial site by July and August.
