HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 2 (ACN) The Vice-President of Angola, Manuel Domingos Vicente, arrived in Cuba this Thursday night to attend the funeral rites of Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
According to Granma newspaper, upon his arrival, the Angolan VP visited the venue of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sign the condolences book and lay a floral wreath.
In the book, he recalled the transcendence of Fidel and the paramount help Cuba gave Angola in its fight for independence and sovereignty.
Several days ago, an Angolan delegation arrived for the funeral rites, led by the retired General Paulo Kassoma, Scretary General of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA)
