Robert Mugabe arrives in Cuba to pay tribute to Fidel Castro

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 29 (ACN) The president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, arrived in Havana to pay tribute to the man he considers to be not only the leader of the Cuban Revolution, but also of all Africa, Fidel Castro.

Mugabe, upon his arrival at the Jose Marti International Airport, where he was received by the Cuban Minister of Justice, Maria Esther Reus, said he came to mourn along the Cuban people for the death of the beloved brother and comrade.

After expressing his condolences, Mugabe said Fidel is mourned in all African communities and regions.
¨Fidel is not only your leader, it was our leader and of all revolutionaries, and we follow him, we listen to him and try to emulate him¨, he said

Mugabe recalled his several trips to Cuba and meetings with Fidel: ¨a man of action, ¨ he said

The African leader recalled when Fidel visited Zimbabwe during the 1986 Non-Aligned Movement Summit promised him to open a university in the Isle of Youth to train youngsters in Sciences and Education, among other fields.

Mugabe said Fidel delivered and hundreds of African youth graduated there, as well as thousands of doctors from that continent
