HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 14 (acn) The Vice-president of the Council of Ministers, Ulises Rosales del Toro, held official talks with Spanish Valencia Community President Joaquin Francisco Puig, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
During the meeting, that took place on Thursday afternoon, they spoke about the good state of relations between Cuba and the Spanish Community of Valencia; prospects to strengthen cultural cooperation; commercial exchanges; and investments of enterprises from Valencia in Cuba. They also talked about topics of international topicality.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor were Ambassador Juan Francisco Montalban and Arcadi España, director of the President's Cabinet.
Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Gerardo Peñalver, Director General of Bilateral Affairs, Alejandro Simancas, Acting Director for Europe and Canada, and other officials of the Foreign Ministry.
