Cordial Meeting between Fidel and PM of Algeria

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 14 (acn) Commander in CHief Fidel Castro and the PM of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmalek Sellal, held a cordial meeting on Thursday afternoon.

The Algerian leader referred to the close friendship that exists between the two countries and had affectionate expressions towards the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, on behalf of the government and especially on behalf of the people of that fraternal nation.
Fidel recalled moments of his meetings with President Bouteflika, a true and loyal friend of Cuba, to which he sent fraternal greetings. He also recalled passages of the island's internationalist cooperation with African countries and particularly with Algeria, and underlined the challenges the international community has ahead to safeguard peace and guarantee food and the very existence of the human race.
Fidel told the Algerian PM that unforgettable Hugo Chavez and Abdelaziz Bouteflika will always be leaders of two revolutionary countries, one in Latin America and one in Africa, that most supported the Cuban Revolution, subjected to an evil blockade that has lasted over half a century.
He stressed that Venezuela and Algeria stopped being instruments of imperialism for the plundering of the countries of the region. The determination of our peoples will grow. Nothing or no-one will be able to crush their spirit.
