HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 12 (acn) The Prime Minister of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmalek Sellal, arrived in Cuba on Wednesday on an official visit, with the purpose of strengthening even more the excellent relations that exist between the two countries.
The African PM was received at the capital's Jose Marti International Airport by the Cuban deputy ministers of Foreign Affairs and Public Health, Abelardo Moreno and Marcia Cobas, respectively, and by his country's ambassador to Havana, Mohamed Achache.
I bring a message of friendship from my President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, for President Raul Castro and Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, Sellal told the press, and said he felt at home.
He stressed the strong bonds of fraternity uniting the two nations and sent a message to the Cuban people.
As part of his agenda, the Algerian PM will hold official talks with Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers.
Also, he will meet with the President of the National Assembly of the People's Power (Parliament) Estaban Lazo, and will tour the Museum of the Revolution.
