HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 29 (acn) Cuban vice-president Salvador Valdes is heading the island´s official delegation to attend celebrations in Botswana for the 50th anniversary of that African country´s independence.
According to Granma newspaper, the Cuban delegation includes deputy foreign minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez and the Brigadier General Arnaldo Tamayo.
Vice-president Salvador Valdes will also tour other African countries such as Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
