Raul Receives Visiting Chinese Premier

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 25 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, received Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of the Council of State of the People's Republic of China, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

In a fraternal atmosphere on Saturday afternoon, the two leaders spoke about the excellent relations existing between the two countries, the main cooperation projects and the strengthening of bilateral bonds. Likewise, they reviewed the main topics on the international agenda.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor were Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Xu Shaoshi, president of the National Commission of Development and Reform; Miao Wei, Ministry of Information Industry; Gao Hucheng, Minister of Trade; Luo Shugang, Minister of Culture; ambassador Zhang Tuo; and other top officials of the official delegation.
Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Vice-president of the councils of State and Ministers; Marino Murillo, Vice-president of the Council of ministers; Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice-president of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Planning and the Economy; Rodrigo Malmierca, Maimir Mesa Ramos and Abel Prieto, ministers of Foreign Trade and Investment, Communications, and Culture, respectively; Marcelino Medina, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and other officials of the Foreign Ministry.
