HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 16 (acn) Cuban Vice President Gladys Maria Bejerano Portela stressed on Friday in Havana the importance of order, discipline and control to close doors to crime and contribute to economic advances.
In an exchange with auditors and directives in the eastern province of Granma, she pointed out that supervision must be constant and not only during inspections in order to avoid problems or for people to identify them in the beginning.
She added that each administration must have their eyes wide open to identify the difficulties, supported by the auditors in order to guarantee law and order.
The Cuban Vice President pointed out, that the best results is achieved in places where each worker is part of a system of control, capable of stopping any irregularity.
She pointed point that in the daily battle to eradicate the illegal incidents, the auditors and administrators are soldiers in the front line that is why it is so important the quality of their work which must be respected and zero tolerance.
The government official added that it is indispensable to achieve the economic development of the country with the efficient use of the resources despite the effects of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
Bejerano explained that the interest in carrying out meetings of this type in all the provinces came out of the 7th Party Congress with Holguin to hold their exchange on Saturday and Guantanamo in October.
Sulema Labrada Roblejo, in Granma pointed out that the province has 485 auditors that have carried out 442 control actions in the first semester of this year.
Orlando Palomino Aliaga, head auditor of the Sugar Company in Granma, highlighted the importance of going straight to the root of the problem in order to be more effective.
