First Vice-president Alerts of Tech Actions to Undermine Cuban IdentityHAVANA, Cuba, Sep 16 (acn) Cuba´s first vice-president Miguel Diaz-Canel alerted in eastern Bayamo city about a political, cultural, economic and symbol-related campaign aimed at undermining Cuban identity and the Revolution through the use of new technology.

Speaking with professors and students during a visit to Granma province, Diaz-Canel said that the students must receive comprehensive education to become good professionals and revolutionaries able to strengthen the Cuban social project with more success.
Diaz-Canel called for the implementation of research outcomes to solve concrete problems and have a major impact on the development of local communities.
Speaking at a campus of the University of Granma, the top government Cuban official said that all university courses must focus on pedagogical training, which favors the future of each professional, particularly those who decide to teach others.
During a meeting with media workers at the La Demajagua provincial newspaper, Diaz-Canel addressed some challenges facing the media in the country and he learned about the working strategies of that newspaper as presented by its chief-editor Eugenio Perez.
The first vice-president referred to a future entrepreneurial management project for the media, which could allow generate income and gains
