HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 5 (acn) The Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) acknowledged the work of outstanding Cuban professor and researcher Doctor of Science Pastor Castell-Florit Serrate with the Award for Administration for his significant contribution to and leadership in the Cuban Health National System.
PAHO and WHO office in Cuba officially notified the Cuban Health Ministry about the award, which will be granted at the upcoming meeting of the 55 PAHO Directing Council to take place later this month in Washington D.C.
Doctor Castell-Florit is the director of the Cuban National Public Health School and has 45 years of experience in administration at all levels at the Health System. He has large records and first and second degrees in the specialty of Organization and Administration in Public Health.
