Chinese President congratulates Fidel on his birthday

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 13 (acn) Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Cuban revolution leader Fidel Castro on the occasion of his 90th birthday, Prensa Latina news agency reported.

In a letter delvered at the Cuban embassy in Beijing, Xi highlighted Fidel´s leadership, as well as the love, respect and admiration the Cuban people give him.
Several former diplomats, interviewed by PL, spoke of how Fidel worked to strength Cuban and Chinese bonds.
The cultural exchange between the two countries was reinforced in 1964 when the first Chinese that study Spanish out their country did it in Cuba
