Gladys Bejerano Signs Book of Condolences for Death of Patrick Manning

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 8 (acn) The Vice-president of the Council of State, Gladys Bejerano, signed on Thursday morning, on behalf of the Cuban government, the Book of Condolences opened at the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to Havana to pay posthumous tribute to Patrick Manning, former Prime Minister of that nation, who died recently.

The vice-president conveyed her condolences to the government and people of Trinidad and Tobago and the relatives of the former president. She also reaffirmed the strength of the historic bilateral ties between Trinidad and Tobago and Cuba.
The Cuban leader was accompanied by Rogelio Sierra, Deputy Foreign Minister, and other officials of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
