HAVANA, Cuba, May 30 (acn) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez held official talks with his Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders, who is in Cuba on an official visit.
According to Cuban Foreign Ministry, both diplomats agreed on the positive state of bilateral relations and discussed the potential to strengthen them. They also tackled issues of the international agenda and of common interests
Minister Rodriguez acknowledged the positive role played by Belgium in favor of better relations between Cuba and the European Union, and thanked the European country for its support of the UN resolution demanding the lifting of the US blockade against Cuba
On the Belgian part were present Ambassador to Cuba Patrick Van Gheel, Deputy Chief of Cabinet of the Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs Marc Mullie, and the Director of the Latin America and the Caribbean Department-
