Cuban Vice-president Pays Honor to Soviet Soldiers Killed in WWIIHAVANA, May 26 (acn) Cuban first vice-president Miguel Diaz Canel laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, at the foot of the Kremlin wall, in Moscow.

Diaz-Canel arrived Tuesday in Moscow after visiting Belarus and as part of his agenda he visited the Eternal Flame monument at the Aleksandrevski Sad garden to pay tribute to the soviet soldiers killed in action during WWII.
The top government Cuban official is meeting a tight official agenda in Russia, which include talks with Vice-president Dmitri Rogozin, who also co-leads the intergovernmental bilateral cooperation commission between the two countries.
The Cuban vice-president is also scheduled to meet with the president of the Federation Council or Senate, Valentina Matvienko, and with Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev.
Diaz-Canel was received on Wednesday by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin in what was described as a cordial meeting. Putin and Diaz-Canel exchanged on the excellent state of bilateral relations between Moscow and Havana.
