Cuba and Belarus have fraternal relations, says Prime Minister

HAVANA, Cuba, May 23 (acn) The relations between Cuba and Belarus are fraternal and have withstood the passing of time, said Belarus Prime Minister Andréi Kobiakov during his meeting with Cuban First Vice-President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who is on an official visit to his country.

That phrase was published by Cuban deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra, who is part of the Cuban delegation, in his twitter account.
The Cuban First VP was received this morning by President Alexandr Lukashenko, to whom he thanked for the long-standing support to the Cuban demand for the end of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba.
Diaz-Canel said there is a lot of potential in the bilateral relations in areas like transportation, agricultural, science and especially in biotechnology.
He stressed Cuba´s rejection to the expansion of NATO to the East, something he described as a threat to Belarus and Russia
