Cuban Foreign Minister welcomes Argentinean counterpart

HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 11 (acn) Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez welcomed his Argentinean counterpart Susana Malcorra to Havana, where she arrived Thursday on a working visit.

According to the Foreign Ministry´s webpage, Rodriguez thanked Argentina for its long-standing support of the Cuba-sponsored resolution demanding the end of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of the island, which has been overwhelmingly adopted by the international community at the UN General Assembly.
The top government Cuban official also reiterated his country´s support to Argentina´s claim over the Malvinas islands.
During the talks, the two foreign ministers addressed bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
