CAMAGUEY, Cuba, Mar 9 (acn) An eight-worker brigade belonging to the sports industry of Florida City in the province of Camagüey, supports repair works in the Havana's Latinoamericano baseball stadium.
For several days the group is immersed in the works of that facility, where it will take place on March 22nd an exhibition game between a Cuban squad and the MLB side of the Tampa Bay Rays, reports the digital version of Radio Florida.
These workers are engaged in changing the padding of fences of the main Cuban ballpark, traditional seat of the most important national and international competitive events.
To meet their target they work 10 to 12 hours daily to complete on time their share in the repairs.
The tasks in the Latinomericano are being intensified in recent days, making emphasis on the roofing and improving the grass.
ACN recently reported that the repairs also include works to raise the comfort of spaces for athletes, the protocol rooms, the presidential box, outdoor areas and cabins of TV and radio stations accredited to cover the event.
