Cabrisas Receives Australian Government's Special EnvoyHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 25 (acn) Ricardo Cabrisas, Vice-president of the Council of Ministers, received on Thursday afternoon the delegation headed by Andrew Robb, Special Envoy for Trade of the Government of Australia.

The two parties discussed opportunities for trade, investment and cooperation that could be developed from existing potentials, which have been confirmed by the exchanges held between business sectors of the respective countries.
During the course of the meeting the steps being taken to formalize, in the bilateral order, the agreements reached with the Ad-Hoc Group of Creditors of the Paris Club, of which Australia is a member, were tackled, with the aim of creating the conditions that allow advancing in the deepening of trade and investment.
The Australian delegation informed on the visit to the Mariel Special Development Zone, where they appreciated first hand the investment opportunities offered to foreign entrepreneurs.
Accompanying the visitor was David Engel, Ambassador of Australia to Havana, as well as other members of his delegation. Cuba was represented at the meeting by the Vice-president of the Central Bank of Cuba, Arnaldo Alayo, and Yamila Fernandez del Busto, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment, among other officials.
