HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 25 (acn) Cuba and the European Union will hold the seventh round of talks March 3 and 4 aimed at reaching an accord on political and cooperation dialog.
The European Union office in Havana said that the bilateral meeting will address pending issues on political dialog and cooperation, as well as institutional decisions and general provisions relevant to the accord.
The EU delegation will be headed by assistant general secretary for Global and Economic Affairs under the Foreign Action European Service, Christian Leffler, while Cuba will be represented by deputy foreign minister Abelardo Moreno.
Cuba and the European Union began negotiations in April 2014. Since that year the two sides have held six rounds of talks with the latest having taken place in Brussels on December 2015.
