HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 9 (acn) Namibia´s vice-president Nickey Iyambo received Cuba´s Food Industry minister Maria del Carmen Concepcion in her last day of an official visit to that sister African nation.
Minister Concepcion expressed her satisfaction for having visited Namibia, which she described as a land of men and women who feel special admiration and affection for Cuba an she made a wrap up of main working results of her delegation and their Namibian counterpart.
The Namibian vice-president stressed the importance of Cuba collaboration and particularly in this case for having the possibility of counting on experts from the Cuban fisheries sector who will help expand aquiculture in the African country.
The Cuban minister toured economic facilities in the capital Windhoek, such as meat-processing plants. She also visited the Walvis Bay, which is expected to become a major port in southern Africa.
