Raul Receives German Federal Deputy FM

HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 8 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, received Sigmar Gabriel, German Federal Deputy Foreign Minister (FM) and Minister of the Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

In a cordial atmosphere, they spoke on Friday afternoon about the positive state of bilateral relations and the great potential that exists for their development. Also, they spoke about different topics on the international agenda.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor was Thomas Karl Neisinger, Germany's Ambassador to Havana, and Eckhard Franz, Chief of Cabinet of the Federal Minister of the Economy.
Also participating for Cuba were Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Vice-president of the councils of State and Ministers, and Bruno Rodriguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
