HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 9 (acn) Deputy Lorena Peña, president of the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, met on Thursday in this capital with Deputy Esteban Lazo, president of the National Assembly of the People's Power (ANPP), during a visit the legislator of the neighboring country paid to the headquarters of the Cuban Parliament.
Peña, who also chairs the El Salvador-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, was accompanied by Irma Amaya, deputy of the Central American Parliament, and by Sandra Gonzalez, Ambassador of El Salvador to Havana.
Also present at the fraternal meeting were deputies Ana Maria Mari Machado, vice- president of the ANPP; Yolanda Ferrer, president of the International Relations Committee; and deputy Luis Morlote, president of the Cuba-El Salvador Parliamentary Friendship Group.
