Cuba and China Military Stress Bilateral RelationsHAVANA, Cuba, Dec 4 (acn) The Cuban embassy in Beijing and high-ranking Chinese military officers stressed on Friday the mutually beneficial unfolding of bilateral relations between the armed forces of both countries.

During a ceremony at the Cuban embassy in Beijing to mark the 59 anniversary of the Cuban Armed Forces, the island´s military attaché Juan A. Betancourt stressed the high level of links between the two military forces.

The ceremony also stressed the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba.

Over the years, our two nations have shared deep bonds of friendship that strengthen day by day under a true sense of brotherhood and solidarity, as it has been expressed by our leaders Raul Castro and Xi Jinping, said the official.

The military attaché called on both sides to keep working towards an even more solid defense and bilateral relations of friendship and mutual support.

The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General He Lei; Rear Admiral Li Ji and Major General Ma Zhangkui, among other high-ranking Chinese military officers.
