Raul Meets with Visiting Uruguayan FM

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 25 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils fo State and Ministers, met on Wednesday with Rodolfo Nin Novoa, Minister of Foreign Affairs (FM) of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

In a cordial atmosphere, the two parties highlighted the excellent state of bilateral relations and ratified their willingness to continue working on the implementation of the Bi-national Program, agreed during Raul's visit in March to that nation of the Southern Cone. Likewise, they spoke about other topics on the regional and international agendas.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by ambassador Ariel Bergamino.
Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Bruno Rodriguez and Rogelio Sierra, minister and deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, respectively, as well as by ambassador Mercedes Vicente.
