Cuba and Mexico to expand cooperationHAVANA, Cuba, Nov 7 (acn) The Cuban and Mexican governments signed several agreements in order to expand the reach of bilateral cooperation.

As part of the visit to Mexico by Cuban president Raul Castro, he and his Mexican counterpart Enrique Peña Nieto attended the ceremony of the signing of five cooperation agreements that are added to the ones penned in 2013.
Now, Cuba and Mexico signed a Memorandum of Understanding to guarantee the orderly, safe and legal migration flow between the two countries that will enable them to fight human trafficking and other crimes related to migration.
Other agreements included a program for tourism cooperation for the next two years to boost the flow of tourist between the two destinations.
They also agreed to a program for cooperation in fishing, the fight against illiteracy and for sports development
Raul Castro said these agreements reinforce the legal framework of the relations and reflect the strong political will to continue moving forward in the cooperation that will benefit both peoples.
