HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 4 (acn) The upcoming 10th Congress on Marine Sciences will allow open exchange between Cuban and US academics, experts and directives of institutions in the sector.
The director of the Cuban National Aquarium Guillermo Garcia said that over 100 US specialists will attend the forum, considered a record figure of accreditations from the US in the event.
The forum will discuss 37 presentations of US experts and will hear three key-note lectures by directives of institutions of that country.
The forum, known as MARACUBA, takes place every three years and it grants the Cuban Prize of Ocean Sciences.
