New Book on the Cuban Five at Havana's International FairHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 7 (ACN) The Last Cold War Soldiers is the title of a book by Brazilian author Fernando Morais approaching the case of the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters held in the U.S., which will be launched a the upcoming 22nd Havana International Book Fair.

The Cuban edition of the book, the first to have been released in Spanish, was already presented at the 3rd International Conference for World Balance held January in Havana.

For Brazilian theologian Frei Betto said that the book is an effective step towards the release of the five Cuban heroes.

Betto recently said in Havana that he has met many readers, who say that they did not have the slightest idea about the case of Gerardo Hernandez, Fernando González, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and René González before they read the book.

Meanwhile, Maria Guerrero, sister of Antonio Guerrero, told the Cuban news agency that the book will be a powerful tool to raise awareness about the injustice committed in the Cuban Five case.

Fernando Morais (Minas Gerais, Brazil 1946) is a journalist, author and politician, who has written other books, such as Olga, The King of Brazil and the Magician.

The writer was granted the Brasilia Literature Prize in the modality of Reportage by his book The Last Cold War Soldiers, during the First Book and Literature Biennial of Brasilia.
