Raul Welcomes Vietnamese Army General Do Ba Ty

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 28 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, welcomed Army General Do Ba Ty, Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of Staff of Vietnam People's Army, as well as the delegation accompanying him, who are on an official visit to Cuba at the invitation of the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR).

Participating in the brief meeting, held on Wednesday afternoon, in which the historic ties of friendship between the two countries and armed forces were ratified, were Army Corps generals Leopoldo Cintra and Alvaro Lopez, Minister and First Deputy Chief of Staff of the FAR, respectively, and Brigadier General Arnaldo Tamayo.
